Calli Popham

Calli has been practising yoga for over 20 years, starting at a young age, and has completed over 500 hours of teacher training. She specialises in teaching inversions and arm balances in an accessible and fun manner; weaving philosophy and heart felt slow - flows together in a creative and non-dogmatic way. 

She supports & teaches on teacher trainings and retreats internationally and teaches in some of the best studios in London. Her style is playful, and encourages practitioners to intrinsically feel and trust the capabilities of their bodies. 

She has practised, played with and learnt from some of the best teachers in the world and continues to explore all of the different avenues of her practise and teaching, a forever student with an insatiable passion to share this powerful practise.

What does Yoga mean to you?
Yoga is an opportunity to explore who we really are beyond the endless inner narratives, expectations and layers of conditioning. It is a chance to wake up, to be present and to disentangle.
Favourite yoga position?
Anything upside down - Handstand or Pincha Mayurasana :)
Favourite meal or snack?
I am obsessed with quinoa, quinoa stir fry's, salads, anything! . For snacks, I love raw energy balls, apples and anything dipped in humus!
Favourite Inspirational quote or saying?
Note to self: None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an afterthought. Eat the delicious food, walk in the sunshine, jump in the ocean. Speak the truth that you have buried in your heart like hidden treasure. Be silly, be kind, be weird. There’s no time for anything else.
